je suis crevé. aujourd'hui ici à Logan on a travaillé sous la neige et pourtant cette dernière n' est pas coutumière dans cette partie de l Écosse, qui bénèficie du courant de l'Atlantique, en fait protéacées. palmiers, et plantes provenant du Vietnam prospèrent á côté de caméllias et de rhododendrons( ces derniers, comme la collection de plantes vietnamiennes sont l'orgeuil de Richard Bairnes, Garden Curator de Logan)

Mais mes coup de coeur, parmi les Rhodo sont ceux dont l' écorce est époustoufflante, au tons de canelle, c' est la section Maddenia que j' adore,

toujours surprenante, pour l'écorce est la Fuchsia excorticata dont l'écorce se brise en lambeaux, qui est un vrai arbre. Puis des forêts de fougères arborescentes dont la magnifique Sphaeropteris (Cyathea) medullaris toute vétue en noir, et la Sphaeropteris dealbata, qui cache sa beauté au dessous de ses frondes. Je suis arrivé á Logan par le biais de mon expérience á Tresco l' année dernière, dans le vain tentatif de pouvoir transformer ces situations aléatoires en quelche chose de plus permanent.
