Come usare la Pierre de Ronsard, senza fare danni

Tutti prima o poi caschiamo nel canto della sirena della rosa ‘Pierre de Ronsard’o ‘Eden’ ( ma in realtà è un inferno) ma come nelle sirene della mitologia greca si tratta di mostri sanguinari. 

La Pierre seduce, soprattutto le donne con quel rosa Barbie, che fá sognare , a tante non più tanto ragazzine, la loro perduta e compianta  adolescenza. 

Ho piantato per mia nonna questa rosa in Mugello, nel 94 da una pianta semi decrepita in un vivaio della zona. Piantata in una casa colonica in un posto brullo e selvaggio come il Mugello. 

La piantai a  mezz’ombra dove la fioritura non era eccessiva,  ed aveva un suo senso, ( un pó come la Bougainville che nei posti secchi ha il suo senso, malgrado le opposizioni di snob da quattro soldi ).

 Ma quest’ accostamento che feci quando ero teenager, fù un caso fortuito, di una varietà che non conoscevo e che avevano preso a caso. 

Ma tanti non hanno questa fortuna e trasformano questa rosa assolutamente moderna e espolosiva in una cosa pericolosissima. 

Prima pericolo: pensare che sia una rosa romantica, se lo pensate vi state ingannando .Questa rosa é appunto come un narcistista che vi stá  manipolando con un love bombing iniziale,per poi dimostrarsi totalmente diversa. Per me é come il personaggio di Bel Amy di Maupassant: Georges Duroy. 

  Lui usó le donne per fare la sua ascensione sociale. La sua amante Madeleine, che malgrado la sua incredibile intelligenza e cultura non poteva aspirare all’ epoca a una carriera da giornalista e quindi faceva da ghost writer, prima al marito, poi a Georges ,che entra di soppiatto,nel mondo sociale, grazie alla sua ambizione. Questa rosa ha una gran voglia di vivere, di conquistare e sedurre, ma camuffando le sue debolezze e mancanza di eleganza facendosi passare per un raffinato, romantico ed elegante.

 Questa rosa oltre a essere un’ arrampicatrice sociale lo é anche di tanti muri. 

 In realtà come dice il sommo rodologo Maurizio Usai, ha i rami rigidi e inadatti come pianta rampicante.

Eppure tanti l’ Adoperano come rampicante in primo piano e al sole, così da rendere una rosa spaventosamente,appariscente, tanto da ricordare un semaforo. 

La Pierre si vede dallo spazio, non é una prima donna, ma una rosa corale, o di secondo piano, in un luogo nascosto e all’ ombra come fá l’ Illustre giardiniera Paola Colucci. 

All’ ombra fà meno fiori, meno appariscenti e con una sfumatura verdognola, che la rendono particolare e gradevole. 

 Un errore colossale che fanno i groupies”della Pierre é di considerarla una rosa che ricorda le rose antiche, ma come in altra rosa che  fá letteralmente impazzire ( in senso letterale)le persone ,e le rendono cieche su loro difetti come la ‘Gertrude Jekyll’. 

Una potrebbe essere paragonata ai Beatles e L ‘altra agli Stones, o  ancora meglio a due bande boyband rivali ,dove le ragazzine si strappano le mutandine e cose simili.

 Entrambe anche se ricche petali e  in Foggia antica, sono rose moderne in tutto e per tutto, con  colori sgargianti, appariscenti e chiassosi su arbusti disordinati e rigidi.  

 La Gertrude per contro,ha un profumo celestiale che la Pierre non possiede , e  comunque ha più grazia.

Non  ha i fiori , che invecchiando sembrano delle mummie e che obbligano a grosse pulizie. 

Nessuna delle due , sono delle buone rifiorenti e in certi luoghi sono da considerare ,quasi a fioritura unica. C’ é da dire che ho visto delle bellissime Pierre de Ronsard usate con pareti con colori moderni,  oppure con del metallo, o su materiali poveri, con sucesso.

Dove invece crea un diabete instantaneo e violento é in contesto shabby chic, dove sembra veramente un rozzo scalatore sociale come Bel Ami. 

La cosa buffa é che questa rosa non la volevano mettere in commercio perché non la consideravano di valore, gli stessi ottenitori, ma un esterno che era in visita agli stabilimenti, gli consiglió di metterla in comnercio.

Questo consiglio  fruttó un grandissimo successo economico, forse quasi al livello di ‘Mme A Meilland’, che peró era una rosa di valore (non a caso ebbe duecento progenie dirette, tanto per dimostrare il valore della pianta, che ancora oggi rimane insuperabile, al contrario ) .

Le vendite sono astronomiche e io ne ho vendute in numeri vergognosi. 

Molti parlano del fatto che é stata premiata dalla world federation of roses.

 Ho da fatto da volontario alla suddetta associazione ,ed é una macchina da fare soldi, per casalinghe ricche, e per le multinazionali della rosa che lisciano queste casalinghe .

Le Valutazioni della suddetta associazione premiano soltanto le multinazionali delle rose, e non gli indipendenti, quindi da non prendere in considerazione.

La Rosa venne chiamata inizialmente Eden, usando un nome di una vecchia varietà chiamata Eden rose dello stesso Meilland, che per ragioni commerciali, cambió in Pierre de Ronsard per scimiottare le  trovata di David Austin, di usare i personaggi della letteratura per creare uno sfondo colto per mascherare il puro mercantimonio). 

L’ uomo , Pierre de Ronsard anche chiamato il Principe dei Poeti, in realtà non era altro che uno sporco maschilista.

Nel suo poema più famoso :Mignonne allons Voir.. Su i forum ci sono noiosissimi dibattiti tra pro e contro la Pierina, come viene chiamata.

 Non é una cosa nuova, ci sono stati gli haters in passato  della ‘Queen Elizabeth ‘ , della Mme A Meilland e della ‘Mme Isaac pereire’(tra cui il grande Jack Harkness, che diceva che questa rosa gallica nell inutile battaglia contro il Magenta, e  Christopher Lloyd la espiantò come molte rose antiche di sua madre, dal giardino di culto che é great dixter).

La nuova Pierre é la ‘ Eyes  for you’ che a differenza della Pierre é una pianta di qualità (come lo erano la Mme a Meilland,e malgrado i suoi difetti anche la Queen Elizabeth ‘).

 Che la Pierre piaccia, di certo nessuno vuole rinnegare il gusto di ognuno. 

Amo,  Madonna, ma obbiettivamente non é una cantante, malgrado abbia venduto una caterva di dischi. Io l’adoro , come adoro le sue canzoni , ma non é arte, e non perché mi piace vuol dire che sia un qualitá.

 Come pianta é assai di bassa qualità ma da molta soddisfazione, ed é facile, quindi se piace why not. 

L unico problema é come coi figli mal educati dai genitori:  non é colpa dei figli se si comportano male (come non lo é della Pierre, che tra L altro ho visto molto bella come arbusto)

 Molti adoperano l’ emotività senza logica. Come per i figli ,bisogna conoscere i loro diffetti. 

Questa guerra generazionale, della Pierre, che é di una noia mortale, esiste su molti campi , come nella musica , nel teatro etc. 

Questo fenomeno, nacque con il Romanticismo, che si contrapponeva al Classicismo. C erano delle scaramucce tra i sostenitori di Racine e quelli di Victor Hugo, con il suo Gil Blas, che allora veniva considerato volgare. 

Oggigiorno é un classico , e anche noioso....

 Molti la classificano come rosa truzza , ma é solo mal usata. 

Come nel 3/4 delle volte é un pugno in un occhio, ma anche il kitsch se ben usato, ha il suo senso.

 Il dramma é quando si pensa di fare una cosa elegante....

 Poi ci sono rose truzze, come la Nistalgie ma che hanno solo qualità

. Per  me una pianta se é di qualità é di qualità . 

Il gusto personale é in altra cosa...io sinceramente preferisco La Rosa Händel, da cui deriva. Che é più stile moderna e meno finto antico.

It was Planted in an old stone house in adry and wild place like Mugello in Tuscany in half shade where the flowering was less excessive, and hence less brutal, and shade makes the pink less Barbie girl,, making the flowers less in your face, and more subtle. But this combination that I did when I was a teenager, was a fortuite case, of a variety that I did not know and that they had taken at random. But many do not have this luck and turn this rose absolutely modern and expolosive in a dangerous thing. First danger: To think that it is a romantic rose, if you think you are deceiving yourself :this rose is just like a narcissist who is deceiving you with ways of other times and then prove to be totally different. For me it is like the character of Bel Ami by Maupassant : Georges Duroy. He used women to make his social ascension. Que será , será.... Adoro violentemente questa canzone. Mia nonna Beatrice che vedeva tutti i film vecchi perché non si parlava di sesso come nei film moderni che lei aborriva. Quindi quando passavo le estati nel Mugello, dove vi sono le terre ancestrali della famiglia di mia madre, i Guasconi di Villamena, dove io compravo con la mia paghetta, rose per questo giardinetto per amore suo.

 Doris Day era spesso presente, e io da gay che non sapevo ancora di esserlo, adoravo questa icona gay. É una rosa che si adora o si detesta . Il nome si rifá al famoso giardino di rose della prima moglie di Napoleone Joséph de Beauharnais. Questa Rosa viene chiamata anche Queen of beauty and fragrance, e non a caso é una regina di bellezza e fragranza un pò come la stessa Joséphine. Questa rosa dalla bellezza artificiosa e travolgente é una rosa bourbon e il capostipite di questa razza é di origini tropicali (isola réunion)come la stessa Joséphine nata nella Martinica. La Joséphine non era una grande bellezza ,un pò come l arbusto sgraziato, ma i fiori sono di una charme come la stessa imperatrice, che rese uomini egocentrici come Napoleone dei veri zerbini, grazie alla sua eleganza e il Savoir faire. Questa rosa bellissima e charmante, dimostra come una donna apparentemente non bella se munita di charme può diventare una Queen of beauty and fragrance. jacques cartier Questa rosa è un goiello come gli orologi di Cartier... oops Jacques Carier era un altro. Jacques Cartier era un marinaio Bretone che per primo descrisse mappò la zona del fiume san Lorenzo e dichiarò quelle terre come apparteneti alla Francia. Queste terre pensava che si chiamassero Canada, ma in realtà in lingua Iroquese Canada vuol dire accampamento. Anche il goiellino di pianta che porta il suo nome sarebbe piu giusto chiamarla Marchesa Bocella, perchè la vera Cartier sembrerebbe estinta. Questa rosa doppia, a quarti, con una piccola rosetta centrale, con un piccolo occhio centale è una delle portland più popolari. Il colore rosa che diventa molto pallida ai bordi, il profumo é medio alto ma molto buono.
